Job summary

McKinsey & Company, Charlotte area, seeks a Senior Fellow - Scientific AI (Physician) to drive oncology-focused AI across Life Sciences R&D. You will join a global scientific AI team to transform how clients innovate, with multi-disciplinary staffing on studies and leadership in proposals, publications, and external reputation growth.

You will advance the field at the intersection of oncology and AI, mentor colleagues, engage with academia and industry, and contribute to high-impact client work

Qualifications

• MD degree and US medical license with residency completed.
• Proven oncology expertise and up-to-date publications.
• Deep understanding of AI methods: deep learning, causal inference, foundation models.
• Ability to develop solution blueprints and incremental releases.
• Leadership experience and external engagement.
• Strong ability to translate complex methods to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Transform client Life Sciences R&D with scientific AI capabilities.
• Build and lead forward-looking AI capabilities for clients.
• Drive proposal processes and client negotiations for end-to-end solutions.
