Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, located in East Hartford, CT, seeks a Senior Fellow in the Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS) to advance propulsion diagnostics and prognostics for commercial and military engines. You will lead real-time data monitoring, AI-driven health management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and engaging with government customers, suppliers, and certification authorities. Onsite work with travel around 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 14 years’ experience in engineering related discipline or an advanced degree and 12 years’ experience.
• U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead advancements in diagnostic and prognostic technologies for propulsion systems.
• Develop real-time and off-board monitoring solutions for performance tracking and alerting.
• Provide technical leadership for diagnostic/prognostic systems across the product family.
• Mentor and develop future diagnostic experts at P&W.
