Job summary

RTX Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Commercial DPHM team based at the East Hartford facility. You will develop advanced diagnostics, prognostics, and health analytics to support commercial fleet operations.

Success requires expertise in statistics, data science, ML, and AI, plus strong collaboration with engineering and product teams to ensure models reflect engine behavior and real-world operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field, with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in statistics, data science, machine learning, and AI techniques.
• Experience with Python and core data science libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytics using statistics, physics-informed approaches, machine learning, and AI on fleet data.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure analytics reflect engine physics and customer needs.
• Define and advance analytic methods, modeling standards, and validation practices across the team.
• Support continuous performance monitoring and improvement of deployed analytics.
