Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Fellow in the Controls & Diagnostics Systems team to advance propulsion diagnostics and prognostics across commercial and military engines. You will help develop real-time monitoring and embedded AI approaches while coordinating with government customers and industry partners.

The role requires deep expertise in diagnostic methods, safety standards, and leadership to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 14 years’ experience in engineering related discipline or an advanced degree and 12 years’ experience.
• U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic/prognostic technology advancements for propulsion systems.
• Develop real-time and off-board monitoring hardware/software.
• Provide technical leadership across the PWA product family.
• Advance AI and ML applications for engines and APUs.
• Collaborate with government customers, suppliers, and certification authorities.
