Job summary

Bold Business seeks a design-driven Senior Federal & Workplace Design Specialist to lead complex government interiors, guide strategy, and mentor junior designers. You will deliver CET drawings, product specs, and high-end visuals for GSA project work.

You will collaborate with Sales, executives, and government stakeholders to win high-visibility contracts while ensuring codes, accessibility, and sustainability compliance across multifaceted spaces.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in design from a FIDER/CIDA-accredited program or equivalent.
5+ years of progressive experience in complex commercial interiors and government projects.
Strong knowledge of GSA requirements and government project processes.
Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD & CET Designer or ProjectSpec.

Responsibilities

Lead development of CET drawings, furniture plans, specs, 3D visuals and presentation materials.
Lead space planning with complex systems furniture, codes (ADA, LEED, WELL) and government requirements.
Produce installation drawings and contract-aligned specification packages with accuracy.
Perform field verifications, inventories, and resolve discrepancies between plans and site conditions.
Collaborate with Account Executives, VP of Sales and stakeholders to shape project vision.
Represent design in client meetings, government presentations, and coordination discussions.
