Job summary

Bold Business in Maryland seeks a Federal & Workplace Design Specialist at entry to junior level to support GSA and government projects, translating client requirements into compliant, high-performance commercial and federal environments.

Work with senior designers and Account Executives to produce workspace solutions, space plans, and visuals while learning CET Designer, AutoCAD, and ProjectSpec in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design (FIDER/CIDA-accredited) or equivalent.
• 0–2 years in commercial interiors or workplace design preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; willingness to learn CET Designer and ProjectSpec.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing CET drawings, furniture plans, specs, 3D visuals, and client materials.
• Support GSA and code compliance integration with guidance from senior staff.
• Help produce installation drawings and specification packages.
• Participate in field verifications, inventories, and onsite measurements.
• Collaborate with senior designers and Account Executives to deliver project visions.
• Participate in client meetings and coordination discussions to build presentation skills.
• Provide updates on project status, deadlines, and task completion.
