Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Engineering and Technology growth team, driving the development of tailored, compliant solutions for Federal proposals. You will translate client needs, capture strategies, and FAR/OTA requirements into compelling technical and operational approaches that align with win strategies.

This role owns the technical strategy and proposal response, including development of the technical solution, staffing plan, implementation considerations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years in FAR-based and OTA Federal technical solutions development.
• Strong systems engineering background with multidisciplinary integration.
• Ability to translate customer needs and compliance inputs into a clear proposal response.
• Outstanding technical writing skills for complex engineering concepts.
• Experience interviewing SMEs and leading RFI/RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical architect across pursuit lifecycle and growth team activities.
• Provide end-to-end thought leadership for proposal responses (technical solution, staffing, BOE).
• Provide expert technical writing for artifacts, white papers, SOWs, briefings, and proposals.
• Collaborate with teaming partners to develop technical solutions and pricing strategies.
• Explore new approaches and enabling technologies to drive solution innovation.
• Support capture of business and technical requirements and communicate to varied audiences.
• Lead and mentor junior staff in RFI/RFP responses.
• Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
