Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer to shape the future of federal facilities. You will deliver electrical design across multiple projects for U.S. Government agencies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to provide innovative, sustainable solutions.

With ~20% travel for site visits and client engagement, you will help produce IFC design packages, ensure standards compliance, and contribute to high-profile projects, including SCIFs and TEMPEST shielding contexts.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required for federal project work.
Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design with focus on federal projects.
Proven experience delivering IFC design packages for federal facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Registered EIT; PE license preferred.
Excellent communication skills for presentations, speaking, and written work.

Responsibilities

Be a key member of electrical design teams producing construction-ready design packages reflecting scope and documentation.
Design facilities for USACE or NAVFAC focusing on SCIFs, ICD 705 compliance, TEMPEST shielding; familiarity with NIPR/SIPR/JWICS a plus.
Ensure compliance with UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UBC, IEC, CE, EN.
Proficient in design/modeling software including ETAP, SpecsIntact, Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Forma, Elum Tools, SKM, EDSA, Easy Power.
