Job summary

GuidePoint Security in Reston, VA, is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to own the cradle-to-grave federal proposal lifecycle—RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and sole-source justifications—with DoD, IC, and Civilian agencies. You’ll coordinate Sales, Pre-Sales, Legal, Contracts, and vendor partners to deliver compliant, on-time submissions.

Qualifications

• This role requires 7+ years of Federal proposal management experience (DoD & Civilian).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; APMP certification is preferred.
• Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and federal procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Own cradle-to-grave proposal lifecycle from qualification to submission.
• Coordinate across Sales, Pre-Sales, Legal, Contracts and vendor partners.
• Manage multiple federal proposals with conflicting deadlines.
• Lead kickoff meetings, color team reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Develop win strategies and maintain reusable content libraries.
• Ensure formatting, page limits, and submission instructions compliance.
• Track metrics like win rates and cycle times to drive improvements.
