Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Proposal Development Subject Matter Expert to lead cradle-to-grave federal proposals, including compliance, writing, editing, and coordinating subject matter experts to deliver compelling, customer-focused submissions.

The role requires 5–10 years of federal proposals experience with DoD, GSA, or civilian agencies, strong writing and project-management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of federal proposals experience.
• Experience with DoD, GSA, or civilian agency pursuits.
• Full lifecycle proposal management experience.
• Knowledge of FAR and proposal compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and SMEs to meet deadlines.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cradle-to-grave proposal activities for high-value pursuits.
• Manage proposal schedules, compliance matrices, storyboards, color reviews, and production processes.
• Provide hands-on writing and editing for key sections as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributors to deliver compliant proposals.
