Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer for Anchorage, AK. Responsibilities include observation of projects, contract administration, QA, and coordinating with government personnel. Must meet US Citizen and background screening requirements.

Requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 10+ years' federal construction experience; PE license preferred. Must be able to obtain/maintain access to military installations. E-Verify practices apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of federal construction project experience.
• Experience with vertical construction and DoD/USACE projects.
• Active PE license preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on assigned projects to government personnel.
• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities per policies and regulations.
• Analyze design and construction issues per contract requirements.
• Provide engineering determinations to meet contract requirements.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and construction deficiencies.
• Assist in preparing change orders and cost estimates.
• Provide field surveillance and daily reports.
