Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Alaska Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 10 years as structural engineer on federal projects.
• NDI experience and AISC certification beneficial.
• Experience with RF shield and ICD 705 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for civil and structural systems on federal projects.
• Review design documents for constructability and compliance.
• Prepare scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Assist with steel/welding inspections, QA, and contract administration.
• Analyze contractor plans and submittals; coordinate RFIs and RFQ responses.
• Monitor progress, advise on delays, and document project data.
