Job summary

Accura is seeking a Project Engineer for Anchorage, AK to oversee government-initiated construction projects and report to federal personnel. You will review drawings, manage contract administration, QA, safety, and RMS-based processes on complex, multimillion-dollar ventures.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 10+ years of federal construction experience (USACE/DoD preferred) and a PE license is preferred. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (engineering, architecture, construction management).
• Minimum of 10 years on large federal construction projects (USACE/DoD preferred).
• Experience with vertical construction and facilities (admin buildings, barracks, etc.).
• EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on assigned projects to government personnel.
• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities.
• Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements.
• Provide engineering determinations to meet contract requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and construction issues; assist change orders and cost estimates.
• Provide field surveillance and daily detailed reports.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field

Professional Engineer license (preferred)
