Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Federal Principal Product Support Engineer (Level 4) to act as the technical bridge between on-site federal customer teams and HPE's engineering organization. You will work hands-on across the full infrastructure stack, from bare metal to cloud, diagnosing production issues and delivering actionable fixes.

This hybrid role requires US citizenship, active Secret clearance (preferred or obtainable), and travel up to 25% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering escalation point for on-site federal teams
• Diagnose and troubleshoot across the full infrastructure stack (bare metal to cloud)
• Write structured defect reports with clear reproduction steps for engineering teams
• Lead field‑engineer training and enablement for the PCE platform
• Ensure security and compliance requirements are met during incident handling
• Perform on-site work at customer locations and communicate results clearly
