Intelligence Federal seeks an experienced General Attorney - Federal Procurement & Contracts to support its EMCBC OCC contract. The full-time remote contractor will perform legal research, drafting, and litigation support with an emphasis on DOE contractor oversight and 10 CFR Part 719 compliance.

The role requires strong research, analysis, and writing skills, plus extensive experience in federal contracting and negotiations. Travel may be requested as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal practice experience as an attorney.
• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• 4+ years previous experience with contractor compliance in the Federal sector.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Strong federal government contract and/or agreement drafting experience.
• Experience with federal contracts, government contractor oversight, or procurement-related legal matters is highly relevant.
• Experience in environmental law is a strong plus.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
• Ability to work remotely and travel as requested.

Responsabilités

• Prepare legal analyses, opinions, and memoranda on contractor management and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research on 10 CFR Part 719, federal procurement law, and related areas.
• Support negotiations with contractors and prepare relevant documentation and authorities.
• Draft internal and external memoranda, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Review contractor submittals for compliance with 10 CFR Part 719 and DOE requirements.
• Review attorney billing rates for reasonableness against regulatory standards and benchmarks.
• Support agency attorneys in environmental, property, appropriations, and administrative law through research and writing.
