Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Pricing Specialist to support National Security Solutions pricing efforts, including cost/profit analysis and proposal pricing for federal contracts. The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, Contracts, HR, and other teams to deliver compliant, compelling proposals.

The position requires strong analytical skills, extensive pricing experience with government programs, and the ability to draft narratives that meet RFP criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of direct federal government pricing experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of direct government pricing practices, cost/price analysis, FAR and CAS regulations.
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or manages major and complex cost proposals generally valued at $50M+.
• Applies knowledge of government pricing techniques for professional services proposals.
• Drafts and finalizes cost/price narratives to support pricing approaches per RFP criteria.
• Develops pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses.
• Presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessments to senior leadership.
• Collaborates with Contracts, Subcontracts, HR, Finance to deliver compliant proposals.
• Ensures alignment with RFP criteria and business unit objectives.
• Performs quality assurance reviews of proposals.
• Provides guidance to pricing analysts on compliance issues.
