Job summary

NOVACES is seeking a SME Project Management Specialist in Baltimore, MD, contingent on contract award, to serve as Project Manager and Key Personnel for a U.S. Coast Guard SFLC-BOD engagement.

The role leads strategic initiatives, modernization, and business process improvements, coordinating contractor work and serving as a primary contact for CO/COR. On-site with potential remote support from CONUS, requiring Tier 1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and federal PM experience.
• 10+ years of senior project/program management experience in federal environments.
• PMP preferred; Agile/Scrum helpful; ability to obtain Tier 1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives, modernization efforts, and business process improvements for SFLC-BOD.
• Serve as primary point of contact for CO and COR; coordinate contractor work across teams.
• Develop project plans, manage schedule, risk, and resources; produce artifacts and reports.
• Incorporate Agile methods using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence as appropriate.
• Ensure on-time delivery within scope while maintaining high professional standards.
