Job summary

Kastech Software Solutions Group is seeking a senior federal payroll specialist with deep hands-on experience in federal civilian payroll operations. The role focuses on Title 5 and Title 38 compliance, premium pay, overtime, retirement deductions and W-2 processing.

The successful candidate will own payroll reconciliation, exception analysis and root-cause resolution, and translate payroll business rules into functional requirements for system configurations and reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years supporting federal payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Title 5 and Title 38 payroll rules.
• Experience with premium pay, overtime, retirement deductions, TSP, garnishments, and W-2 processing.
• Payroll reconciliation, exception analysis and root-cause resolution.
• Experience translating payroll business rules into functional requirements.
• Requirements workshops, process documentation, data mapping, RTMs and SIT/UAT.
• Experience with NFC or another federal payroll shared-service environment is highly desirable.
• Oracle HCM Cloud exposure is helpful but the primary need is strong federal payroll expertise.
