Evolver Federal is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deliver expert engineering for mission-critical enterprise infrastructure in a hybrid on-site role in Washington, DC. You will manage Cisco technologies, security, and hybrid-cloud connectivity, with focus on monitoring, incident support, and documentation.

The role requires Top Secret clearance, 10+ years of network experience, and at least 5 years with Cisco Catalyst 9000, ISE, and secure routing architectures.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with Top Secret clearance and background check.
• 10+ years designing and maintaining enterprise networks.
• 5+ years with Catalyst 9000, Secure Routers, ISE, 802.1X, and wireless.
• 5+ years of BGP/OSPF/VLANs, QoS, WAN architectures.
• 5+ years with firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, DNS, IPAM, NAC.
• 5+ years integrating network telemetry into SIEM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise routing, switching, internet, VPN/ZTNA, firewalls, and DC interconnects.
• Administer Catalyst 9000, Secure Routers, ISE, 802.1X, ThousandEyes, Cisco wireless.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, alerts, and anomalies.
• Maintain SIEM integrations and cloud/network telemetry with MS Sentinel.
• Lead outage response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks for recovery.
