Evolver Federal is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support our federal client onsite in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes secure, resilient networking, Cisco technologies, hybrid-cloud connectivity, monitoring, outage response, and documentation.

You will manage VPNs, firewalls, ISE, DNS, and SIEM integrations, lead outage analysis, and produce clear technical findings. Requires TS clearance, 10 years of enterprise network experience, and strong Cisco expertise.

Qualifikationen

• US citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance
• 10 years of experience designing, implementing, securing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise networks
• 5 years of Cisco experience with Catalyst 9000, Secure Routers, ISE, 802.1X, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, and wireless controllers
• 5 years of experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, multicast, and high-availability WAN architectures
• 5 years of experience with firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NAC, and secure hybrid connectivity
• 5 years of experience integrating firewall, VPN, ISE, DNS, NetFlow, syslog, and cloud telemetry into SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel
• 5 years of experience with vulnerability remediation, incident-response triage, traffic analysis, and evidence preservation
• 5 years of experience performing root cause analysis and producing clear technical findings and documentation

Aufgaben

• Support enterprise routing, switching, internet connectivity, wireless infrastructure, VPN/ZTNA, firewalls, and data center interconnections
• Administer Cisco Catalyst 9000 switches, Cisco Secure Routers, Cisco ISE, 802.1X, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, and Cisco wireless systems
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, device health, routing changes, alerts, and anomalies
• Maintain network, firewall, VPN, DNS, wireless, cloud, and SIEM integrations (Microsoft Sentinel)
• Support multi-site data center connectivity, redundancy, failover, and resiliency improvements
• Manage AWS hybrid connectivity, including routing, VPNs, security groups, and logs
• Lead outage response and root cause analysis, coordinate restoration, and recommend actions
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration standards, SOPs, runbooks, and recovery docs
