Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 10 years of relevant HVAC/building design experience, preferably Federal.
• Experience working in a multi-discipline environment.
• Experience with Revit and energy modeling tools (Trace 3D Plus, Carrier HAP).
• Federal security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop design approaches at Conceptual and Basis of Design levels.
• Develop HVAC and plant utility system philosophies and construction specs.
• Perform load calculations and energy modeling.
• Develop BMS control philosophy, sequences of operations.
• Provide construction support through submittals, RFIs, and field visits.
• Travel for client development and project implementation.
