Job summary

GovCIO in Quantico, VA is seeking a Program Director to oversee a portfolio of federal IT contracts. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with on-site majority presence at the Quantico location.

You will direct all phases of programs, manage cost, schedule and technical performance, and serve as the primary customer contact for program activities. You will also mentor Program Managers and contribute to new business development.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI.
• 15 years of operations, portfolio, and program management experience in federal government contracting.
• Minimum 5 years in portfolio or program leadership with responsibility for P&L and financial performance.
• Active PMP certification.
• Experience mentoring multiple Program Managers and conducting reviews.
• Experience communicating with executive leadership and government customers.
• Strong understanding of cost-plus contracts and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of programs.
• Coordinates proposals, plans, budgets and contract terms.
• Acts as primary customer contact and leads program review sessions.
• Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
• Establishes milestones and monitors master plans and schedules.
• Directs work of staff across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Manages one or more programs and may supervise offices.
• Monitors contract, subcontract, and funding; prepares forecasts.
• Acquires follow-on business and supports major proposals.
