Job summary

FYI - For Your Information, Inc. is seeking an experienced Federal HR policy advisor to support management with staffing, classification, and compensation decisions.

The role emphasizes policy research, data-driven analysis, and leadership briefings, with opportunities for remote work depending on contract and position. The ideal candidate will guide change management, develop HR studies and dashboards for OCHCO, and ensure alignment with federal regulations across civilian workforce programs.

Qualifications

• Experience researching, analyzing, developing, and implementing Federal human capital policies, particularly staffing, classification, or compensation.
• Strong knowledge of Federal HR statutes and regulations, with experience analyzing data and advising leadership on complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on Federal human capital policies, options, and flexibilities to address complex HR issues and operational requirements.
• Support organizational change management initiatives, including readiness assessments and implementation support.
• Design and conduct HR studies, statistical analyses, reports, dashboards, and special projects for OCHCO leadership.
• Research and evaluate complex Federal HR and Department-wide initiatives.
• Review and analyze new human capital statutes/regulations and provide recommendations on staffing, classification, and compensation.
• Develop and refine human capital policies, procedures, and programs for Department-wide and component-specific needs.
• Develop strategies and policies supporting employees in both the Competitive and Excepted Service.
• Provide recommendations on policy implementation and address concerns involving Federal HR statutes and regulations.
• Analyze aggregated HR data and develop leadership dashboards and reports.
• Maintain a daily activity log of completed HR and human capital activities.
