Job summary

Evolver Federal is seeking a Lead Project/Program Manager to lead a comprehensive MSSP/MDR Security Operations Center program supporting federal mission objectives. You will drive governance, incident response, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with NIST, FISMA, and OMB guidance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with 8 years in tech, 6+ years in IT security at senior levels, or 12+ years tech with 8+ in senior roles.
• PMP certification and ITIL 4 Foundation required.
• US Citizenship and ability to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of SOC program management including planning, execution and oversight.
• Oversee vendor/partner management, budgets, SLAs, KPIs, and EVMS.
• Direct SOC operations to meet contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Govern RMF/NIST/TIC 3.0 aligned governance, risk, compliance.
• Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources for performance-based contracts.
• Serve as primary liaison with executive stakeholders and client leadership.
• Guide deployment/integration of SOC tech (SIEM/EDR/SOAR) and scanners.
• Maintain program docs: risk registers, compliance reports, exec briefings.
• Drive maturity via automation, analytics, and continuous improvement.
• Lead incident response during high-impact cybersecurity events.
• Foster collaboration across technical teams, vendors, and federal partners.
