Job summary

Evolver Federal is seeking a Lead Cyber Threat Analyst to identify, analyze, and mitigate advanced cyber threats targeting federal systems. The role focuses on threat hunting, intelligence analysis, and developing detection strategies to disrupt adversaries.

You will lead a team of analysts, collaborate with SOC and IR teams, and provide actionable intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity posture in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent with extensive IT experience.
• 10+ years in IT/tech, with 5+ years on large government contracts.
• Active security certifications (CISSP, GCFA/GCTI, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber threat analysis and intelligence operations to identify threats.
• Perform proactive threat hunting across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Analyze TTPs and develop detection aligned with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Oversee malware analysis, reverse engineering, and forensics.
• Integrate threat intel into SOC workflows and detections.
• Apply Zero Trust and cloud security principles across controls.
• Prepare executive-level threat reports and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-functional teams.
