Job summary

Evolver Federal is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions for federal systems. You will prioritize continuous monitoring, RMF/NIST compliance, and audit readiness while shaping secure architectures across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical security experience or 4+ years at senior level on federal contracts.
• US Citizenship with ability to pass a government background check.
• Strong understanding of RMF, NIST 800-series, and TIC 3.0 controls.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for federal systems per RMF/NIST.
• Develop secure configurations for SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability programs.
• Support SOC with advanced detection rules for SIEM and workflow optimization.
• Lead DevSecOps integration within CI/CD pipelines and automate compliance reporting.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses for critical systems.
• Provide incident response support and forensics guidance during events.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure audit readiness for ATO processes.
• Document security architectures, system security plans, and diagrams.
