Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager for the Federal Strategic Cyber group, based in Arlington, VA. You will lead a large, multi‑discipline program, ensuring technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance while guiding subordinate project managers.

Responsibilities include shaping capture strategies, overseeing SLAs, managing contractors, and driving cyber operations capabilities for DoD/Federal clients. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and minimum of 12 years managing complex IT programs; or a Master's degree with 10 years.
Active CISSP certification.
Experience leading large contractor teams of engineers, architects, and IT professionals.
Experience managing program performance to meet SLAs, including capacity, load balancing, and cloud scaling.
Leadership delivering cybersecurity services in a fast-paced Federal program and 24x7 operations.
U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Lead a multi‑disciplined, multi‑company program team with resource, schedule, risk, and quality decisions.
Support capture activities, including whitepapers, RFIs, and proposals for Federal/DoD Cybersecurity programs.
Meet operational SLAs, manage subcontractors, and define future requirements with customers.
Engage government leads and contractors to propose pilots and demonstrations of cybersecurity capabilities.
Utilize DoD defensive cyber operations experience and cyber intelligence functions in program execution.
Oversee agile software development, detection logic, malware analysis, and threat hunting within timelines.
Embed best practices and develop dashboards, processes, and workflows across a large program.
