Kaizen seeks a contracts professional to own the federal obligation register across all agreements, coordinating with BD, IT, and security to keep standards current. You’ll advise on structure, flag compliance risks, and drive timely signature decisions.

You will handle subcontractor onboarding, training, and notices while navigating SAM, PIEE, and WAWF portals, ensuring DoD and civilian agency requirements are met with agile responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in federal contracts or subcontracts administration on the contractor side.
• Fluency with FAR/DFARS, including flowdown matrices and applicability thresholds.
• Experience building a compliance register or calendar from scratch.
• DoD contract experience, including FAR-based awards or other transaction agreements.
• GSA Schedule administration: catalog maintenance, pricing justifications, BPA setup/updates.
• Direct submissions into federal systems: SAM, PIEE or WAWF.
• Experience managing subcontractors or teaming partners against scope, milestones, deliverables.
• Negotiation experience on federal contracts, not just post-award administration.
• Familiar with data rights and IP provisions in federal software contracts.
• Eligible to work with CUI

Responsabilités

• Build and own the obligation register across every federal agreement, including mods and change orders.
• Manage the compliance calendar: training certificates, notices, postings, and annual filings (VETS 4212A).
• Make applicability calls on thresholds and what applies at our size.
• Administer federal portals: SAM reps and certs, PIEE and WAWF for invoicing.
• Review flowdowns on new subcontracts before signature and flag risks.
• Onboard subcontractors: program context, security, and operating expectations; ensure scope adherence.
• Route execution to People Ops, IT, and security and map ownership.
• Serve as primary interface with government COs and AOs on active contracts.
• Support BD with contract strategy, pricing input, and risk assessment on proposals.
• Manage clause interpretation with outside counsel.
