Job summary

Accura Engineering in Albany, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including project observation and reporting to government personnel. This role supports project development and delivery by implementing government decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies.

The position requires coordinating with the Designer-of-Record and QA teams, overseeing scheduling, submittals, and cost analyses, and preparing daily reports and formal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ABET accredited.
• Minimum of seven years of contract administration/office engineering experience.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities.
• Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with the Designer-of-Record (DoR) and CFM for recommended solutions.
• Review project schedules and provide comments on progress and payments.
• Prepare daily QA reports and participate in QA inspections.
• Assist with modification scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and coordination meetings.
• Provide status reports to district leadership and COR.
