Job summary

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to support the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Global Acquisitions. The role provides senior-level expertise in federal compliance, safeguarding, suspension and debarment, and organizational accountability.

The ideal candidate combines strong writing and public speaking skills with extensive knowledge of federal regulations and policies. Must have a Secret clearance and experience advising acquisition and program stakeholders,

Qualifications

Extensive demonstrated experience in federal compliance and safeguarding.
Ability to analyze investigative findings and develop defensible recommendations.
Excellent legal and analytical writing skills for memoranda and senior-level documents.

Responsibilities

Draft administrative memoranda, case recommendations, and briefing materials for senior officials.
Support suspension and debarment matters including case intake and research.
Assess safeguarding allegations and organizational responses in sensitive matters.
Interpret federal statutes, regulations, and agency procedures relevant to compliance.
Advise stakeholders on compliance risks, remedies, and required documentation.
Develop and monitor corrective action plans and internal controls.
Coordinate with other federal offices and external stakeholders while protecting sensitive information.
Review exclusion-related information for accuracy and timely entry in SAM.
Create SOPs, templates, and case tracking tools to improve efficiency.
Deliver training and briefings on compliance, safeguarding, and ethics.
