Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Federal Civilian Account Executive to own a strategic U.S. Federal Civilian territory. You will lead consultative sales engagements, map Cloudera’s platform to mission outcomes, and drive growth with senior agency leaders across multi-cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will orchestrate cross‑functional teams and navigate federal procurement while building deep executive relationships with CIOs, CDOs, CISOs, CTOs, and program managers. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of direct, full-cycle enterprise software sales in the U.S. Federal Civilian market.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas in complex, enterprise sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Territory & Account Planning: develop a comprehensive strategy and plan for Federal Civilian agencies.
• Consultative Solution Selling: lead complex sales across multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• Execution & Methodology: apply MEDDPPICCC/MEDDIC to manage pipeline and forecast.
• Federal Procurement Navigation: work with contracting officers, SIs, prime contractors, and federal vehicles.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: align Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and partners to win.
• Executive Relationship Building: establish trusted C‑suite relationships within agencies.
