Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Federal Civilian Account Executive to own a strategic agency territory and drive multi-cloud data platform solutions across the federal sector. You will map Cloudera’s capabilities to mission outcomes and lead complex, consultative sales engagements with agency CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and program managers.

You will collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Value Management, and professional services to win, grow footprint, and ensure long-term mission impact.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of direct, full-cycle enterprise software sales in the U.S. Federal Civilian market.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas in complex enterprise sales.
• Domain expertise in data management, analytics, AI/ML, or related ecosystems (preferred).
• Strong MEDDPPICCC/MEDDIC sales qualification and execution skills.
• Familiarity with federal procurement processes and ecosystems (e.g., SEWP, GSA).
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Territory & account planning for Federal Civilian agencies, driving pipeline and expansion.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• Apply MEDDPPICCC/MEDDICCC to forecast revenue and accelerate deals.
• Navigate federal procurement processes with contracting officers and partners.
• Coordinate with Solutions Engineering, Value Management, and services teams.
• Build executive relationships with C-suite and senior agency leaders.
