Job summary

Osi Vision seeks a Senior Contract Specialist to support the Federal Transit Administration with acquisition and programmatic support services. The role covers cradle-to-grave procurement from planning to closeout, requiring strong FAR knowledge and experience with multiple contract types and federal systems.

Work is primarily off-site, with potential on-site duties at the U.S. DOT/FTA HQ in Washington, DC if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and eight years of relevant contracting experience.
• Senior-level federal acquisition experience equivalent to FAC Level III.
• Knowledge of Government contracts types (Firm-Fixed Price, FP-EPA, Labor Hour, T&M).
• Knowledge of FAR procedures and ability to apply laws/regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting acquisition mechanisms (IDIQ, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders).
• Strong MS Word/Excel and internet research skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cradle-to-grave procurement actions from planning through closeout.
• Meet with program officials and acquisition personnel to support planning and execution.
• Provide senior-level subject matter expertise in federal acquisition operations.
• Assist with solicitation preparation, evaluation support, award documentation, and contract administration.
• Review and edit acquisition documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Conduct data analysis and report findings to the Government.
• Maintain updates in spreadsheets and online tracking tools.
• Provide recommendations on procurement strategies and acquisition methods.
