Job summary

US Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Acquisition Liaison to support the Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Acquisition Management. You will serve as a bridge between program offices and contracting personnel to advance procurements from planning through award and closeout.

The role requires deep FAR knowledge, 5+ years of federal acquisition experience, and the ability to prepare and review complex acquisition packages and SOWs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required.
• 5+ years federal acquisition experience.
• FAR knowledge and hands-on procurement experience.
• FAC-C Level II or equivalent.
• Experience supporting acquisition actions through planning to closeout.
• Ability to prepare and review federal acquisition packages.
• Experience developing SOWs, Objectives, and plans.
• Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, Cost-Reimbursable, LH, T&M).
• Familiar with IDIQ, BPAs, task/delivery/call orders and purchases.
• Knowledge of FAR Parts 12, 13, 15, 37, 43; contract closeout.
• Ability to conduct federal market research and cost/price analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal acquisition SME support to program and technical staff.
• Collaborate with Contracting Officers and program offices to move actions from planning to award.
• Prepare and review purchase request documentation for contracting systems.
• Develop and refine Statements of Work and Performance Work Statements.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets; monitor funding levels and status.
• Assist with acquisition planning, market research, and IGCEs.
• Support cost/price analysis and document procurement conclusions.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure milestones are reflected in contracts.
• Document discussions, decisions, and action items from meetings.
