Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with federal government customers, owning architecture and end-to-end delivery of data, AI, and application solutions on the Databricks platform.

You will lead design decisions, train teams, and ensure customer value with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and hands-on delivery. This hybrid role requires travel to customer locations 20-25% of the time and emphasizes customer empathy, architecture ownership, and collaboration

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Two or more Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with PySpark and Apache Spark.
• CI/CD for production deployments and ML/AI/MLOps knowledge.

Responsibilities
