Job summary

Foster Garvey PC seeks a partner-level attorney with seven-plus years of FDA regulatory experience to lead its Consumer Brands practice. The role focuses on advising food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics, and other consumer product clients on labeling, advertising, and regulatory compliance while supporting sophisticated financing and M&A transactions.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, help grow regulatory capabilities, and engage with investors, lenders, and operating

Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience advising clients on FDA regulatory compliance matters for consumer products.
• Experience with CPSC, FTC and related regulatory matters is a plus.
• Portable book of business and ability to grow client relationships.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills; practical, client-focused regulatory counseling.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practices and offices and independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the FDA and consumer products regulatory capabilities within the Consumer Brands team.
• Counsel clients on labeling, packaging, advertising, ingredient and product compliance.
• Lead regulatory aspects of financing, investment transactions, and M&A with investors and lenders.
