Job summary

Foster Garvey PC seeks a partner or counsel-level attorney with extensive FDA regulatory experience to join its Consumer Brands group in New York. The role focuses on advising on FDA, CPSC, FTC and related regulatory matters for food, beverage, supplements, cosmetics, and consumer products.

The attorney will lead regulatory aspects of complex financing, M&A transactions, and business development with investors and operating companies, while expanding the Firm's FDA and consumer brands

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience advising on FDA regulatory compliance for consumer products.
• Experience advising on USDA regulatory matters.
• Portable book of business an advantage; interest in developing and growing client relationships.
• Experience with CPSC, FTC or related regimes is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California Bar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on FDA labeling, advertising, and product compliance.
• Lead regulatory aspects of financing, M&A, and partnerships.
• Counsel on regulatory risks in manufacturing, distribution, and supply arrangements.
• Collaborate across practices and offices to develop client strategies.
• Help grow Foster Garvey's FDA and consumer products regulatory capabilities.
