Job summary

Foster Garvey PC seeks a partner or counsel-level attorney with at least seven years of experience advising clients on FDA regulatory matters to join its Consumer Brands industry group.

This role offers the opportunity to help lead and grow the Firm’s FDA and consumer products regulatory capabilities while working with clients in the food and beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics, wellness, and broader consumer products industries.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of significant experience advising clients on FDA regulatory compliance matters, with substantial experience involving food, beverage, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and/or other consumer products.
• Experience advising clients on USDA regulatory compliance matters.
• A portable book of business and demonstrated interest in developing and growing client relationships.
• Experience with CPSC, FTC and related federal or state regulatory matters is a plus.
• Experience negotiating or advising on commercial agreements in the consumer brands or consumer products industries is a plus.
• Experience advising on regulatory issues arising in M&A, financing and investment transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on FDA regulatory compliance matters affecting food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics, and other consumer product companies.
• Lead regulatory aspects of sophisticated financing, investment, and M&A transactions.
• Work with investors, lenders, and operating companies to identify, evaluate, and manage regulatory risk.
• Collaborate across practices and offices to expand the Firm’s FDA and consumer products regulatory capabilities.
