Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks an Expert Farsi Instructor to support a high-priority mission with in-person instruction and language assessment responsibilities.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, ILR 2–3 proficiency, and strong adult education experience. You will tailor materials to learner needs, incorporate geopolitical context, and ensure quality control of translations into American English.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from a US institution or from the country where the target language is spoken.
• 10+ years of direct adult teaching experience; or a master’s degree with 6–8 years; or 15 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to pass an advanced English proficiency translation assessment at level 5 (Expert).
• ILR Level 5/5/5 in speaking, listening, and reading in Farsi.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical, cultural, regional, and ethnic dynamics of relevant language areas.
• Proficient with MS Office and skilled in online research.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person instruction to advanced‑level adult students (ILR 2–3).
• Apply linguistic and teaching skills to support mission requirements.
• Summarize, gist, translate, triage, and edit foreign‑language materials into American English.
• Deliver instruction incorporating cultural, regional, and geopolitical context.
• Maintain instructional excellence and adapt teaching materials to learner needs.
