Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services seeks an experienced Farsi Instructor to support a government agency in Reston, VA. The role involves teaching, translation, transcription, and interpretation services, with a focus on mission-focused language skills and testing in support of sponsor standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Language preferred.
• Language Instruction/Facilitation—experience in testing and design is expected.
• Editing and Quality Control of language products experience
• Summarizing/Gisting with linguistic or cultural expertise
• Writing Reports andりdocumentation
• Selection in various media for language deliverables

Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours a week with ~20 hours teaching and ~20 hours for lesson development, student assessment, and testing.
• Work under the direction of senior trained instructors.
• Complete sponsor training to teach mission-focused language skills and conduct testing to meet Sponsor standards
