The role requires extensive adult teaching experience, ILR 5/5/5 proficiency, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, and excellent English and Farsi communication skills; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, foreign language, or linguistics with 8–12 years of experience, or Master’s with 2–10 years.
• Minimum of 10 years of adult teaching experience.
• Must score 90%+ on English test and Senior level.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Familiar with current events in the target language countries.
• Proficient in MS Office and internet research.
• Excellent English and target language communication skills.
• Travel 0-10%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3–5 hours of daily instruction (ILR 0–3).
• Conduct 3–4 language proficiency assessments weekly.
• Instruct students in speaking a foreign language and understanding the culture.
• Develop class materials and training aids to meet student needs.
• Work under senior instructors and meet Sponsor standards.
• Receive sponsor training to become certified as required.
