Job summary

The Embrace Initiative at University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a dedicated Senior Family Navigator (Senior Community Program Specialist) to support families within the Safer Stronger Together Initiative. This grant-funded role requires evenings and weekends as needed and is based at a community organization in Cambridge, MD.

You will coordinate community programs, develop goals, recruit participants, facilitate trainings, manage data, and prepare reports for sponsors while collaborating

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field.
  • Three years of community program coordination or administration experience.
  • Preferred knowledge of Cambridge, MD resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate community programs and monitor progress to ensure high-quality programming.
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate goals and objectives for programs with leadership.
  • Recruit participants and families; develop responsive outreach plans.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, meetings, and trainings for participants and partners.
  • Manage program work plans, budgets, and reporting to sponsors.
  • Prepare written materials and reports; track data for program evaluation.
  • Provide guidance and administrative support to the program team.
