Job summary

Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Lead Case Manager- Family Advocacy to protect tenants' rights and remediate lead hazards. You will provide case management, resource navigation, and health education statewide, with visits in Baltimore City and surrounding areas.

This full-time role reports to the Director of Family Advocacy Services and carries a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in public health, environmental science, social work or related field.
Two years of experience in non-profit, public or private agency client case management or client services logistics coordination.
Strong written and oral presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

Educate, assist, and advocate for families facing lead and other environmental health hazards in their homes.
Conduct in-home and virtual visits to educate tenants on tenant's rights, lead poisoning prevention, asthma, and other hazards.
Provide case management to increase housing stability and access to resources.
Relocate families to lead-safe housing and coordinate relocation resources where available.
Serve as a liaison between families and appropriate agencies for services.
