A leading materials distributor is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician located in Lafayette, IN. You will support the metallurgical laboratory's operations, assist the Lab Services Manager with technical project management, and maintain contact with key customers. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of testing equipment, experience with technical reporting, and ideally a B.S. in material science or metallurgical engineering. Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in operating testing equipment.
• Formal training using the scanning electron microscope is required.
• Strong working knowledge of steel mill operations is necessary.
