University of Louisville’s Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning seeks a Faculty Development Specialist to advance teaching effectiveness and student success. You will plan, design, and implement professional development programs for faculty across digital, in-person and blended environments.

The role involves creating, delivering, and evaluating workshops, courses, conferences, and learning communities grounded in research, guiding instructors across ranks to enhance instructional practices

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred for advanced expertise and leadership in teaching and learning
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering faculty development programs using digital and in-person modalities

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate faculty development programs and events for multiple modalities
• Provide personalized instructional consultations to faculty on pedagogy and technology integration
• Develop targeted programs to support teaching in face-to-face, online, and blended environments
• Stay informed on trends in faculty development and educational technology and contribute resources and offerings
