Job summary

University of Louisville’s Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning seeks a Faculty Development Specialist to advance teaching effectiveness and student success through comprehensive faculty development initiatives. The role supports planning, design, and implementation of workshops, courses, and learning communities across digital and in-person modalities.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Ed.D., strong pedagogy knowledge, and expertise with educational technologies to guide instructors

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred; demonstrated experience in educational development or faculty development.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate faculty development programs and events across modalities.
• Provide instructional consultations on pedagogical strategies and educational technologies.
• Develop programs for face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments.
• Stay informed on trends in faculty development and educational technology.
