Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Project Manager III to drive factory automation execution for the GS2 Gen 2 production system. This role translates complex automation programs into clear plans and measurable outcomes across engineering, manufacturing, and program stakeholders, with flexible work location across Blue Origin sites.

You will own the integrated execution of Project Horizon, including process workflows, data synthesis, and capital/savings tracking, and be accountable for schedule

Qualifications

• BS/B.A. in engineering, program mgmt, business, or related field.
• 4+ years in aerospace manufacturing or production.
• Experience establishing programmatic frameworks incl. budgets & scheduling.
• Experience leading NPI transitions to production.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong skills with JIRA, scheduling tools, and MS Office.
• PMP or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
• US citizenship, permanent resident, or approved status per policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Factory Automation lifecycle framework.
• Lead business rhythm for Project Horizon with cost/schedule/risk reviews.
• Be primary accountable for health of the Horizon Factory Automation portfolio.
• Standardize tools and KPIs across projects for data-driven decisions.
• Lead long-range planning and resource allocation with leadership.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks; drive cross-functional solutions.
• Own capital expenditure tracking and savings models with ROI.
• Coordinate across functions without direct authority; ensure decisions.
• Identify schedule risks, budget variances, and escalations with mitigations.
