Job summary

Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) in Arlington, VA, seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility infrastructure and central plant systems. You will supervise engineering, maintenance, and operations staff while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient performance of all building systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a facility management discipline, 5+ years of supervisory experience in large-scale facilities, and a 3rd Class Steam Engineer

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Facility Management discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in physical plant operations, building engineering, facilities maintenance, or power plant operations for large facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing building systems, utility infrastructure, and maintenance operations in large-scale facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation, maintenance, and repair of facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Oversee central utility plant and power plant operations to ensure continuous service.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
