Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Chief Facility Engineer in McLean, VA to lead complex facilities projects under a major Intelligence Community contract.

You will provide technical leadership, develop estimates and schedules, review design criteria, and mentor engineers across teams. A BS in engineering and PE license are required, with active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred or required in many cases.
• Strong background in large-scale facility projects and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on assigned projects and apply advanced engineering techniques to complex problems.
• Develop and review estimates, schedules, and material quantities.
• Mentor staff, develop training materials, and support performance reviews.
• Coordinate procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, and visitors.
