Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer in Reston, Virginia, to join an interdisciplinary team analyzing and supporting heavy industrial facility systems. The role focuses on integrating facility, geotechnical, and mission data, with emphasis on BMS, ICS, and life-safety systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of facilities engineering, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to senior officials in a fast-paced government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant work experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI Polygraph, U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Systematically integrate diverse data to characterize heavy industrial facility missions and configurations.
• Assess facility layouts, structures, mission systems, and vulnerabilities via 3D modeling and analysis.
• Provide hands-on guidance on facility infrastructure design, specification, and installation.
• Produce accurate intelligence estimates and customer-directed products from engineering analysis.
• Communicate technical findings through written reports, briefings, and discussions with all levels.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert within the technical domain.
